Julia Esser
Creator. Operations Strategist. Slow Run Club Founder. Helping ambitious women stop optimizing their lives and start living them.
I spent 15 years building systems inside fast-moving startups like WeWork and Rivian, where I learned exactly what it takes to keep things from falling apart when life is moving at full speed. Now, I bring that same enterprise-level rigor to small businesses and ambitious women drowning in their own lives.
I’m a "proud plodder" in a world obsessed with the hustle. I’ve realized that while life happens fast, real growth happens slow. My work is about trading the "quick fix" or the 5am routine for real systems that support the life you’re actually living.
I combine startup-tested strategy with a realistic approach to operations so you can stop managing your existence and start enjoying it.

Operations Consulting
I help ambitious founders across the PNW trade "survival mode" for sustainable scale. I step into the backend of your business to build the robust systems you’ve outgrown. Together, we’ll set your business up to run without you so you can do more of what you love and less micro-managing.
Barre Classes
I’ve been teaching the Barre Eclipse method (created by Adrienne Rabena) for over seven years at studios throughout Seattle. My current regular class schedule is
@ Community Fitness (Roosevelt)
Fridays | 8am - 9am
Plod Squad
Seattle’s first slow running group. We run a “Party Pace” (anywhere from 10 - 12+ minute miles). Started in June of 2026, the club runs around 4x per month. Fine the full schedule @plodsquadsea on Instagram or TikTok.
