Men are two times more likely to start a business than women. 

As a girl from a small farm town in the 90s, I was told to be small. Fat free. Obedient. Men take over the business and women do the books. So I stayed quiet and hungry. 

In the corporate world, I spent years thinking the men in the decision-making rooms were there because they were the best. When I finally got in those rooms, I realized most of them were there for one reason - they were men. 

That’s when I had a choice. Keep pouring my energy into companies that make rich men richer under the guise of “saving the world,” or use my 15 years of experience in operations and team management to actually save the world…by helping women founders succeed. Because when women succeed, their families and communities thrive. 

My last name, Esser, means “eater” in German. As girl, this mortified me. As a woman, I’m reclaiming it as my philosophy. It’s Esserly. Working Esserly means you get to do more of what feeds your soul. I’ll handle the details and messy operational stuff so you can stop nibbling on scraps and feast on what you love.
